I get my whiteboard back
Like many here, I use software tools to try and stay on top of the many tasks and projects that come in my door. Recently, I had a project that had a lot of moving parts - multiple stakeholders, critcal milestones, and tricky timing that made my head hurt. I tried one piece of software and then the next. My solution was a bunch of sticky notes on my whiteboard that showed the path. Sadly, the notes on my board can’t reflect the multiple iterations of this project type and don’t let me drill down to the level of detail needed by each of the players. Enter inShort. My boss needs the top level showing the 5000-foot level details. My collegeues need to drill down on each of those steps to get to the detail that will result in a positive outcome for each step. That is the power of inShort. Show the level of detail needed by the person you are meeting with.
