inShort App Reviews
The difficult task of creating SOP’s and implementing systems in all market sectors and segments has been made as easy as it is for a kid to draw on paper. A strong foundation of any small company or fortune 500 corporation starts from building solid Satandard Operating Procedures and systems that can be easily communicated to all deaprtemtns and senior to junior and clerk level employees. If you are on a journey to build or already have a business which you wish to last for decades not years, then inShort is the software that you should purcahse, before even buying microsoft offic. inShort deserves a purchase even if it was $1000. Buy for me its buy inShort or go home. Would recommend it to all my social and business network. Keep it up Guys.
So far this tool has helped structure essays, business operations, projects. It has definitely helped in putting strucutre to the thought process. It’s probably going to replace a lot of other applications in my toolkit. Great job guys!
I’m very excited to have discovered this project management tool in the app store. Prior to inShort, I’ve used Microsoft Project, @RISK, and a number of cloud-based project management systems. inShort appears to be both easy to use and powerful. I love the initial project plans it produces, including the ability to specify "beta-PERT distribution” time estimates, time buffers, and scenario analysis. The true test is to use it on a full-scale project, to determine how easy it is to keep a project plan up-to-date as the project progresses, as well as how easily it integrates with other processes such as Scrum. I’m optimistic and will post an update to this review after we’ve had a chance to fully learn and use inShort. I definitely recommend giving inShort a try.
This is a great tool for working out projects, and it includes an excellent interactive tutorial that very effectively shows how to use each part of the application. Also, for professional software, this is very reasonably priced.
After I opened the app and went through the tutorial, I felt completely “at my desk”. The visual work flow was just minimal and distraction-ree, yet sophisticated and eyes catching. I used this app to lay out my work plans, experiments, sometimes monthly reports. It might be too much but I could even use the app to plan my yard worsk, saved a trip back and forth to Home Depot. Also, cloud intergration was a plus.
Looking at a project, for me, could sometimes be daunting. Like seeing the forest, but not the individual trees. This program helps you drill down into the aspects of a project or a task, and see the indvidual components that make it up, so that the whole thing is less daunting. I’ve made my first project with this tool - thanks to a brilliant tutorial that walks you through the process all while using the software itself - and I look forward to many more!
I hestitated to spend the money on this app but I am so glad I did. The app is rather incredible and it does everything I want. That said, I would prefer a written text manual because I like to learn that way, but in truth, using the flow chart tutorial helped me engage with the app directly and I learned quite rapidly. I easily mastered all the major components in one sitting. My first flowchart was actually rather impressive and not that difficult to execute. Making a diagram with the app makes you think things through in a very good way. My productivity has substantially increased and I say “thank you developers."
It’s really cool
I was finding the project management tool. Finally I found it!
I’ve only started using the app and I’m very impressed. The combination the ability to map out what you need to do and then track the progess is impressive. Very nice! It is a bit intimidating to start working with. You’ve got so many options it would be nice to have a wizard or something like that.
I think this is a awsome app, especially for sitting down with a client and brain storming a process from concept to detailed design. Once a plan is worked out here it is simple to code. I just wish there was a Windows version for some of my fellow programers that are anti-mac so that collaboration would be possible.
I read many of the previous reviews before making a purchase. I was looking for a gantt tool and found inShort. After reading the User Guide and learning more about the philosophy behind the app I realized that this type of project planning is the right way to start a project versus jumping straight into a gantt chart. Thank you inShort for giving me a useful project planning tool! I agree with the other reviewers - there is a leaning curve - but there is an excellent tutorial that opens up as soon as you open the app for the first time. Take the time and go through the tutorial!!
